Audio and video sync workflow for FCP7

Source materials:
Video: Sony FS 700, Canon Mark III. Video materials has their own audio track.
Sound: recordered separately
Tools:
FCP 7, Plural Eyes 3.5

How to:

1. Import video and audio into FCP.
For .mts files (Sony FS 700) I use built-in Log in Transfer tool, for Canon I use Compressor to convert ot Apple Pro Res HQ.
(for more information about importing .mts files read HERE)

2. Create new timeline and put there your video and audio.

3. Use Plural Eyes to sync:
a)  File -> New Project form Final Cut Pro 7
b) select your sequence
c) After everything is loaded, press Synchronize button at the top of the screen
d) Press "Export timeline" button: Choose Final cut pro XML and Improt sequence(s) automatically into Final Cut Pro
e) You'll find toyr new synchronized timeline in the new bin with your project name

4. After you've got your synced sequence you could leave it as is and work with the sequence as source material, But I prefer to have clips with synced audio in my bins. To put synced clips to the bin:
a) Select clip
b). Cmd+L to link audio and video. You shoudl see that all names of the clips are underlined
c). cmd+c to copy clip
d). Go to the bin and make cmd+v to insert your clip
That's it!
